Recently I visited Maidstone Museum with a friend and found this a highly educational place. There was a steampunk event on the same day and i too found that fascinating. I’ll definitely be returning with my children!

I was raised in Maidstone, and going back after 45 years, I found the museum very interesting.The old victorian stuffed birds and animals have been condensed to a few display cases. The suits of armour are present and correct.I liked the reminders of the town's...More

Although in an ancient building, access is good for us who are less mobile. The displays are good and varied. Very good for the grandchildren, who enjoyed the interactive parts. Very inclusive.
