The Venue MK is the newest of the Theatres in Milton Keynes, having been open only about 5 years or so.
Because of its young life the seats and general fittings are still in excellent condition.
It seats about 350 people and can accommodate wheelchairs just fine with easy flat access from the Kerbside.
I have been both an audience member as well as helping set up a show in the Venue MK. From a technical stand point its a modern theatre that can cater for pretty much anything a show would need, for a small venue a full fly tower makes it stand out against similarly sized facilities,
Staff both FOH and Tech and spot on and very helpful
I will be returning for show and probably to help

The show we saw in Dec 2017 was the seasonal Panto but on by the Milton Keynes Amateur Operatic Society, an "amateur" show in name only, its a full on well produced show, using professional sets and costumes that sells out year on year and has been going for over 40 years in one guise or another!

The facilities are not too bad. The lights, sound and stage are OK, nothing special. Though there is a lack of info on the website, like parking info etc. The parking is also very limited.

great venue, but very bad regarding contacting them. You call as and when listed and no one answers, so we could not find where the wheelchair positions where

We went to see 'Saturday Night Fever', being staged by Musical Theatre High. This company is for children and young adults interested in musicals. The theatre is not too large and therefore not too overpowering for the youngsters. This was a brilliant production, enjoyed by all. We were sitting on one side but still had good views of all the stage.

Watching MHT at work his delightful little theatre. Show was wonderful. Theatre not too large so you can really get a good view wherever you sit.

We went to a stage school variety show here. It was a great venue - not too big and very homely. Cafe facilities available. Well tiered seating - good view for everyone. Really enjoyed the whole experience.

The Venue MK has been open for a few years hosting all sorts of theatre events, but it was only this January that we went to hear the MK Orchestra play there.
As a modern purpose built theatre it serves its purpose excellently with a raked auditorium of well labelled and easily accessible comfortable seats.
The MK orchestra is only small, but in this small place they filled the room with beautiful sounds, impressing me with the vibrancy and fidelity of the sound they produced. It's a long time since I have heard such a high quality sound, so full compliments to the designers.
