Smithills farm is a great day out with the kids. Very accessible, plenty of room and lots of activities for children including a pets corner which introduces children to a variety of different animals. Cafe is great for a drink or snack and picnic area is lovely.

This is an ideal place to take children of all ages. My grandaughter loves the petting corner and to be able to feed the young animals. It us also fascinating to go into the milking shed to see the cows being milked. There are donkey rides and tractor rides to buy. There is a cafe which is very reasonably priced... More

We have visited lots of animal parks, zoos and farms, Smithills is by far the best and we have been regular visitors for years. The prices stay the same all year round unlike other farms who increase their price in the school holidays. Donkey and Tractor rides are paid for separately as not everyone wants to take part in these... More

Our little girl loves this farm. Lots to do and see. Very tiring for little legs but lots of fun. Under 2s are free entry. Staff friendly and polite. Worth a visit.

I went here with my sister, my mate and her 18 month old baby a few weeks ago - it is mental busy - but a decent place to spend a few hours. Its tucked away so you woulcnt think something so busy was there when you arrive, but once you get through the gates its like a theme park... More

I visited today with my 3 year old son. Pets corner was lovely & the tractor ride much fun. He loved it. Lots of lovely animals. Also the inflatable adventure tunnel & play area were great. Spent about three hours there including our lunch.

This is a lovely farm with lots of animals and a little cafe. There's opportunity to feed lambs and other animals too at set times. It's quite expensive as its not a full day out but worth it as a one off.
