Lovely for a walk with the dog

Having been restored to its former glory the park is well worth a visit and a gentle stroll around the lake.

If you are in the area, it's a nice place to stop. I could not find the public bathrooms, even though there were signs for them. Benches throughout the park, and signage noting the history of the place.

Dear Lana Thank you for posting such nice photos of Worth Park and I’m glad you enjoyed your visit. I’m sorry you couldn’t find the toilets – these are on the right hand side of Ridleys Court, the red brick building in your picture. We are now making more signs to make this clearer. I hope that helps with your... More

This small but perfect parkland is hidden away at the top of Milton Mount Avenue (don't be fooled by Google Maps which takes you to the wrong place!!!) Whilst overlooked by an ugly 70s block of flats the park itself is testament to a fantastic group of volunteers and a forward thinking council. Tucked away at the top of the... More

There are also lovely Victorian gardens which have been renovated to their original beauty. Walkways around beautiful plants and trees. Also a superb fountain.

Recent funding has revived this park from it's rather tired look to somewhere where you can enjoy a lovely walk and enjoy the features of the gardens and lake beyond.

This isn't your regular park. Large central pond and fountain, bowling green etc. Very old fashioned. No childrens area. Pity about the huge block of flats right next to it.

Perhaps there should be a cup cake event here, or a dog show? Or what about some archery and an easter egg hunt? Maypole dancing? Or perhaps a tug of war? Or what about an art exhibition?

These gardens are like stepping back in time. Although dominated by the huge Milton Mount Flats, they are nonetheless very attractive, with formal gardens, lawns and a great fountain that has only recently been renovated. More history here than most other places in Crawley - definitely worth a look in.

The improvements in this area are just lovely, nearly restored to its former glory - love to park at the top and wind my way down the hill around the pond then around behind the Tavern on the Green where there are good walks/cycle paths. Then back up again to finally admire the fountain, gardens and sometimes to watch the... More
