Tilgate has grown and has been maintained very well! The nature park/Zoo is getting more interesting by the day and the park itself is very very nice. The annual Boat race is one of its good attractions .... Go Ape and other activities. A great Family place.

I was working close to Crawley and had an hour or so to kill, googled this Park and so pleased I did, as its a lovely park, small car parking fee, clean toilets and an amazing little zoo that cost £2.50 for an adult and £1.50 per child. The amount of animals there have there is amazing, from a tiny... More

Amazing for only 1.50 for children... A lot to see for kids who like birds etc. Lots of chickens just everywhere you look! We didn't see one member of staff about? The receptionist at the main entrance was very friendly.

Such a beautiful park to spend the day in but absolutely ruined by staff in the walled cafe garden!! Good telling off for eating our picnic lunch! There were no signs saying that you could only eat food purchased at the cafe! I already bought a coffee but was told by an awful lady that we had to move!!! Coffee... More

My favourite place in town, try to come here a few times a month for a walk. Excellent to visit during the whole year. Even on a rainy day you can enjoy a nice walk as long you bring an umbrella. Ideal if you have younger kids, so they can run around and enjoy the nature

I used to regularly visit Tilgate as a kid and I'm glad to say that after not having been there for 20 years it's still as great as it ever was. Intact, its better. We took a small picnic and enjoyed it by the lake, strolled through the gardens, sat on benches and enjoyed the view and also visit the... More
