My sister gifted me a voucher for the 30 minute Fox Experience for my birthday back in August as I have always loved foxes they’re my favourite animal! We finally got to use it yesterday and it was amazing! Ryan the head zoo keeper took us into the enclosure where we got to meet Yogi & Freya! They were so gorgeous and friendly and Ryan had extensive knowledge on foxes. We got to feed them their favourite foods out of the palm of our hands and they even sat on our laps so we could stroke them! 😍 You could really tell how passionate Ryan was about them and how much he loved them. It was an amazing experience to get so up close to my favourite animal! The rest of the zoo is in the middle of moving sites right now so not all the animals were there, but it was still lovely to have a little walk around and all the staff / volunteers were so friendly and knowledgable. 10/10 would go again, but next time I’m going for the VIP package where you get to choose 12 animals to meet 😍 Thank you so much guys you made my day!

Booked the Meerkat experience during lockdown, got a voucher to use when we could. This is something Ive always wanted to do and I knew my daughter would love it too, we went as a family of 4 and I have to say its really was fab we loved every minute. Unfortunately I can recall the ladies name!! However she was really lovely and knowledgeable, asking the kids questions and keeping everyone involved, meerkats too! The meerkats are fab little things and we had the best time! Having the zoo to ourselves apart from other experiences really was a great touch, we wondered round the other animals afterwards and had a really nice time. You guys all do such an amazing job and have loads of time for your visitors as well as the animals you look after so well. Im so please the zoo has been saved and we cant wait to visit you when you move!! Wishing you all the best for the new venture!

We visited in early August for the lemur experience. With the zoo in the process of preparing for their move across Telford, they were only open for experiences so we had the opportunity to enjoy the place mostly to ourselves. Considering the space constraints they have to work around I was impressed with the enclosures, they were good sizes and all allowed ample opportunity for the animals to enjoy their privacy whilst not compromising visitors access to see them. The lemur experience was excellent - as well as the usual feed we were given the opportunity to observe and participate in their clicker training which was a fascinating insight into the work that goes on behind the scenes. Really looking forward to seeing how the zoo grows and evolves in its new location.

2nd time coming to this zoo but the 1st time ever for an experience, we did the fox feeding experience and it did not disappoint! Ryan was so informative and it was so wonderful to see the close bond he has with them both! As fox lovers we would have been happy with a general experience being around them but this went above and beyond our expectations and was an amazing way to celebrate my fiancé's birthday! We will definitely be coming back to visit after the move!

First time visit with my daughter for a 'Lemur Experience' bought for us at Christmas. What an amazing afternoon! We were met at the gate by Ryan who looked after us while we met the lemurs and was fantastic. Really nice guy who was full of knowledge and patience! It was a real privilege to be able to see the animals up close and hand-feed them in their enclosure. All the staff we met were really kind and friendly and let us hold some of the other animals too which was fantastic. Hugely recommend a visit Thank you and good luck relocating to your new site!
