Staff extremely helpful & friendly, we eat in their main restaurant before the show, the food was extremely good, it was also nice to know we could return to our table during the interval & pre-order drinks/food. The show was great. Although the very front seats (Row AA) are so close to the stage that they are very uncomfortable.

I really love this little venue! Easy access ample parking. I love the fact it’s a smaller venue meaning shows feels more intimate. Been to panto 3 times this year and have loved it each time! Gutted it’s all over for another year. But can’t wait to visit other shows here in the future :)

The Panto was quite good, I especially liked Billy and when they did the tongue twister, also it was very clever when the four actors were ducking diving and singing in a row, the only disappointment was LOUIE SPENCE he looked as though he was going through the motions and didn’t want to be there, considering he was billed as the star he was very disappointing, he needs to make more of an effort, these seats are not cheep, we paid in excess of £190 for the 6 of us, Expect Louie takes a large chunk, don’t do panto if you don’t like it Louie.

Thank you for your feedback which I will pass on to the team. I am glad you enjoyed Samuel Parker's performance as Silly Billy, he has certainly been one of the family favourites this year. We hope to welcome you back again soon. Sophie Dodson Guest Experience Manager

A usual Christmas eve tradition is a visit to the panto. This year's offering was far from amazing, so much so it most likely won't be a tradition anymore. Pretty much the same script as the last time it was the same title, just with a change of cast and songs (which you could hardly hear them singing) and the odd Coronavirus joke. Still a tap dancing cow among many other things in a show which had hardly any flow. Staff as helpful as always, seemed incredibly short staffed front of house but I feel it's the same everywhere right now but they're doing a great job. Best thing about the visit. The auditorium was ridiculously hot the second we walked in and did not change the whole time we were in there, was pleased to leave. Such a shame but if something could be done about the temperature then it would be a lot more comfortable and enjoyable

Thank you for your feedback which I will pass on to our team. We are very proud of our staff who work incredibly hard, particularly through the exceptionally tough circumstances we all find ourselves in. We are always reviewing ways to make our audience more comfortable and do our best to keep this aged venue performing at it's best. Unfortunately an air conditioning system is not a luxury this venue has to keep the temperature down however we do have an air handling system in place which refreshes the air every three minutes. We are also opening all outside doors during the performance in order to ventilate the building as much as possible. We hope the temperature of our auditorium does not deter you from future visits with us. Sophie Dodson Guest Experience Manager

Highly recommend Jack and the beanstalk, we went as a family of 9, we all thoroughly enjoyed the Boxing Day performance. Billy was very good, and also the dame, very impressed with scenery. Louis Spence was the main attraction for us we are big fans but can’t help thinking he was not himself maybe he was unwell but the usual spark was missing. Still well worth going.

My friends and I went to the theatre last night for a meal as well as seeing The Jersey Boy’s, what an awesome evening it was, the Christmas meal was served hot and it was soo delicious followed up with a sweet dish of Christmas pudding.
The Jersey Boy’s were very entertaining & lots of people watching got up to dance the evening along.
I have to say a very special thank you to the waitress’s who looked after us all throughout the evening, especially Summer, she was very attentive, happy to help, served our meals as well as our drinks long into the night, when she wasn’t looking after us she as well as all the other waitress’s were dancing with us all.
Given where we have been in lockdown, it was great to be able to enjoy ourselves once again.
We will certainly book another date for another show soon, thank you Summer for looking after us all 💕💕💕

Louis Spence has panto DNA. The show was a magical, crazy, delightful experience. Take your kids, take your Nan, even the mother in law!
Prepare to laugh yourself hoarse!

Just got back from the Genesis Connected show. Absolutely amazing, fantastic show with humour & great music. All members of the band came up to the foyer to meet the audience, sign merchandise, lovely to meet them & their wives. See you next year guys.

Considering the fact theatres etc have been closed for so long, I was astonished at a recent visit to the Wyvern.
I was greeted by a lady wearing a visor, no covid checks and no signs asking people to wear a mask. I realise it is not compulsory but after Visting a theatre in Bristol last week I found the Wyvern severely lacking. In Bristol we had to show Covid pass and wear a mask. I will not re visit the Wyvern now as I felt very uncomfortable during the performance with people next to me, in front and behind me without a mask and no vaccine/negative test check.

Thank you for your feedback. We are always reviewing ways to make our audience more comfortable. We are operating in a Covid-safe manner and following all guidelines, but would ask customers to remain considerate of fellow audience members. Before your visit, we recommend that you take an NHS lateral flow test and only attend the show if the result is negative. Anyone feeling unwell should not attend. You’ll be able to check-in via QR code using the NHS COVID 19 app when you arrive and hand sanitiser will be provided throughout the venue. We’ll be cleaning all areas more frequently and thoroughly, including wiping down surfaces throughout your visit. We’ll also be increasing fresh-air ventilation throughout the building wherever possible. Our staff are also required to show proof of a negative lateral flow test result. We recommend that members of the public continue to wear face coverings in crowded and enclosed spaces where you come into contact with people you don’t normally meet. You should use your own judgement in deciding where you should wear one. We’ll be following all government guidelines and our website will be regularly updated as things change. Please check again before you visit for the latest information. We will also email you before you attend. We hope to welcome you back soon. Sophie Dodson Guest Experience Manager
