I was surprised to find this so under-used given the recent parking charges implemented at Coate Water. But if would still appear that few have found Stanton. There's loads of really nice walks around here on good paths with a lot of it on concrete roads so suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs quite easily. It's nice to be able to... More

Lovely park with lake and woodland walks. Ample parking and an easy flat walk round the lake and through the woods. Small tearoom at the farmhouse open at weekends (maybe only in summer?)

this is a nice little place to go, the cafe was welcoming and really cheap. the kids were able to explore the small cafe garden and splash in the raised pond. the walk we took was pleasant with lots to see, we made a nature hunt looking for foot prints in the mud! it was dog friendly and free

Having a stroll from the nearby Stanton House hotel, we stumbled across this magnificent country park. There are well marked trails and tracks which have a beautiful lake as a centre piece. The paths are well maintained and stand up well to wet weather. There is the site of a Roman villa and a little shop with bee hives selling... More
