Walked in for a pint with friends. Was met with a complicated explanation of how to book via an online booking system for pints. Staff members not particularly helpful, app useless!!! Beer at best ok!!

The Brewery tap is a quality pub, offering excellent service with a charming atmosphere, great range of alcohol, easy place to find and meet up with friends, well worth a beer or two.

The Brewery Tap is a perfect place to start off a drinking session in Derby, no app, service at the bar by friendly staff and great choices of alcohol, well worth a pint or two.

We went on a Saturday lunchtime.
The range of beers was good - shame that they don't do the beer selection with cheese anymore.
The food was fantastic - the Scotch Egg was incredible, followed by a lovely plant based burger.
The staff were very helpful - asked me what beers I like and even offered a taste before I chose.

Wet September afternoon drink in the Brewery Tap was a nice treat, not many folk in, quick service from the great choices on offer, nice atmosphere with the rain outside, well worth a pint.

This pub was recommended and we acted upon this, it was a good decision. Massive choice of beers, on tap and bottled, and excellent bar staff who kindly provided samples for us to help us make our choices. The beer was wonderful and the place has a fantastic ambience and it won't be long before another visit. If you enjoy good quality real ales in a great pub then this is a winner. Top class.

What an absolute joke of a pub, advertised being open to 1am and closed the bar a 10:45. This was on a busy bank holiday weekend

A very cool, hip, pub, attracting people with a taste for quality ale...and cheese! If you're lucky, they have live music playing in the evening!

I have visited the pub now on multiple occasions. It is in an ideal location in Derby City centre, over looking the river Derwent. It has a beautiful interior with a spectacular selection of drinks available. The staff seem to know about a lot of the beers too. There are several on draught and many, many more in bottles. I believe that the pub serves food however I'm yet to try, I will review that separately at a later date. It has an amazing upstairs room which is nice and out the way of the very busy friendly bar area which the weekendas bring. It has to be said the last time I was there the beer wasn't up to usual standard hence the 3 star, however every other time I've been it was perfectly fine... Maybe its because it was a Friday night and very busy. This pub is expensive however for the variety it offers along with atmosphere and views, maybe its worth it. Will be visiting again for sure
