The previously challenging 18 hole golf course at Markeaton has been replaced by a ridiculous 9 hole FOOTGOLF course. Previously luscious greens have been ravaged by roaming packs of savage children, with little to care for golf etiquette. I have not seen such wanton destruction...More

Parking is overpriced. Bit dated and dirty. But take the kids for an icecream and stroll in summer and it will occupy them. Lovely little gardens and cafe and pottery place. Put on nice little days every so often that are worth a trip.

It was a lovely park to visit, just a shame near the car park there was powder dye everywhere and it went all over our clothes including my toddlers. As he was walking it was blowing up in the wind.

Parked fine by the play centre. Paddling pool and canoeing lake particularly looked disgustingly dirty. Play areas are a mix of differing areas broadly grouped age appropriately. The pirate ship is a nightmare to keep an eye on where your child is. Most parents don't...More
