Stopped in for a pint on our way to the train station. Very impressed with the COVID precautions in place, excellent job. Thank you for taking the extra effort to make your customers feel comfortable and safe in these current times. Throughly enjoyed our pints of Railway Porter!

We’ve been looking forward to a trip on the train for a cosy lunch at the Brunswick throughout lockdown. We are not disappointed. We booked last night and were asked where we would like to sit - a great detail following COVID precautions. There is a clearly signed one way system, screens at the bar and everywhere is scrupulously clean. The range and quality of beers is wonderful. My go-to choice is Railway Porter. The food is excellent and very well priced. Whatever the Brunswick sets out to do, whether brewing, food, COVID precautions or events, it does well. Great pub. So pleased to be back.

Visited for lunch Things have changed in view of COVID-19 and having to follow guidelines accordingly so you will notice the plastic safety barriers on the bar now and slightly less tables than before but even in light of this it remains full of character Staff are very pleasant and helpful This pub is a lovely pub with well kept beers and prices are good too. The menu is now in large print on a window with a varied menu and something for everyone. My partner chose the cheeseburger which he said was really good and very good value I chose their fish pie... this is one of the best fish pies I have ever tasted. Very tasty and full of fish including mussels and prawns too, with a fluffy mashed potato and cheese topping The chef is a very good cook Nice area outside with a few tables and chairs 3/4 other separate rooms to sit too

This is a gem in the crown in the city of Derby, great beer, great ambiance and all with classic real ales brewed on site. A great venue to meet and enjoy the company of friends over a great pint.
