I booked this as a family treat as we were spending Christmas in Yorkshire and it was the highlight of our week. Our guide Charlotte was very knowledgeable about the herd, both in general terms and each individual. The ‘dating game’ is a laugh as she tries to pair you up with a Llama or Alpaca that she thinks will... More

We booked the scenic farm trek for an end of year day out. Meeting the llamas was fantastic - they are all such characters! Enjoyed the trek around the farm with Toby our llama! Will definitely be booking again - we had a fab time

I was given a llama trek as a Christmas present last year, and prevaricated about booking, so ended up going this December. The weather colluded and was mild, dry and sunny, and we had the most amazing time. You are properly introduced to the llamas and alpacas and reassured that they most definitely won't spit at people, and then carefully... More

This was a completely unique experience, it began with a bit of an educational talk and introductions, then we got "matched up " with a lama that had similar personality traits to us , we then lead them on an hour / half walk around the countryside with a guide . by the end of the walk i felt like... This was a surprise for my birthday and it was fantastic! The staff were great at dealing with the public as well as the animals. Very interesting and fun. Noodle was extremely well behaved, the scenery was lovely and the facilities good. Would definitely recommend and would like to do a longer trek myself.

When my friend suggested doing this on our weekend away my initial thought was - why?? However, I had a wonderful time! The llamas are very gentle and full of character and the ladies who run the experience are very friendly and informative. Would definitely recommend this for anyone - great fun!

We did the half day trek, well matched with our Llamas. Chester for me, who I adored. We walked approx 3.5miles, learned about Llamas and Alpacas. Suzanne and Charlotte (our guides) were brilliant throughout. Llamas are obviously well loved and cared for. Delicious and plentiful picnic lunch (veggies catered for) at the end of the walk. You do need to... More

We showed up right on time and were greeted promptly by Suzanne. Three of us had decided to each get a Llama for the half day Trek. My name being Jack, I was paired with Jack, Daughter had Gus and Wife was paired with Little Deck. Please remember that they offer boots for rental which would have helped with our... More
