A last minute decision to do something out of the ordinary, we called in the morning and were able to book on for an afternoon trek. The lovely llama ladies were super helpful when booking, driving directions were clear and they were very welcoming when we arrived. Wellies can be hired for a small fee if required but sturdy footwear... More

We booked for a half day trek with a llama each. I've trekked with a llama between two people (an option here) before and also one to myself, both are highly enjoyable experiences. I didn't want to share on this occasion! When we arrived we were greeted by the llamas and some alpacas in the shed and we got to... More

Tuesday 19 July we had a fabulous half day treck sharing a Llama at Nidderdale Llamas. The visit started with introductions to all the characters of the Llamas ...all very different.....and some info about the animals in general. We were then matched with Llama for the track and I have to congratulate Charlotte on her perfect matchmaking! Noodle soon became... More

We visited Nidderdale Llamas on 12th July! We did the scenic farm trek with these lovely Llamas & Alpacas. The scenic farm trek was a bit of a challenge I must say but Bertie the Llama kept me going and Armani with Adam. Beautiful creatures, lovely staff. The beauty of this attraction is that it is so simple but so... More

Just came back from the half day trek with the gorgeous Armani. Both staff were incredibly knowledgeable and excellent at answering any questions we had. Including offering advice on getting to know the llamas, who were far more affectionate and sweet natured (and occasionally cheeky) than I had expected! Beautiful scenery and a nice distance walk, not too arduous. Would... More

An excellent afternoon with the guarantee that the Nidderdale llamas and alpacas do not spit at customers. If you like animals you will love the experience with plenty of opportunity to take photos and stroke the animals during the "meet the llamas and alpacas" followed by leading your animal on a short trek (depending on option purchased). Highly recommended.

We booked this experience for a hen party and we were not disappointed. The Llama's and Alpacas are out of this world and the team guiding you are exceptionally lovely. Each animal has it's own unique personality and you absolutely get to see exactly as described whilst out on the walk. I heartily recommend Nidderdale Llama's to anyone looking for... More

My friend loves walking and loves animals so I came across on trip advisor and it was definitely worth it. We arrived and was welcomed by staff. Both pleasant and instantly made you feel at ease. We was introduced to the llamas and told about each personality. We was then matched up to our llama. Mine was actually an alpaca... More
