I booked (and paid online) a hot stones massage at this place and arrived on time. I was shown into the room and left. When the lady came in I asked what she wanted me to do. I was told to take off everything except knickers, which I did, then lay on the bed. I took my necklace off and put it next to the oils on the table next to the bed. The lady came in and asked what kind if massage I wanted, when I said I had paid for a hot stones, she said they didn’t know I was coming and they weren’t ready for this, so I couldn’t have it. I was offered another massage but didn’t want that. I got dressed and went back to the reception where the receptionist was on the phone to the owner. He accepted responsibility for the mistake (he forgot to tell them I was coming in) and I left after some harsh words and telling him I wanted my money back (he said he couldn’t do that as I booked online and would have to contact the third party myself). In all the upset, I forgot to pick my necklace up from the table (this was a necklace my late Mother had made for me and was very precious). I noticed the necklace was missing when I was getting ready for bed that evening, so ensured I was at the shop next morning for when they first opened. Needless to say, they couldn’t find my necklace, even though they stated that each room was checked before the next client went in. I spoke to the owner the next day, I was distraught at losing this very sentimental item. He said all the right things and even said “I can imagine how you are feeling, I lost my own Mother recently and can sympathise”. He said he would go to the shop and turn it upside down and look under the beds etc and get back to me in the evening. I haven’t heard a word since. I even had to sort out my own refund from Treatwell who I had booked it with. Very disappointed in the salon and heartbroken at losing my necklace.

I am a regular at a well known Thai chain but wanted to try something different so booked Sansara. You expect to enter a massage place and just be welcomed with a calm atmosphere to get into a relaxed mood, but unfortunately the reception wasn’t that. The massage room had an odd plasticy damp smell and that part of the bed where you put your nose through didn’t smell good at all. I would recommend a good clean of the bed and then adding some good Thai scents to the place (even if it is tiger balm). The two masseuses began the massage but were chatting away to each other for a little while. My partner and I weren’t impressed. Once the massage started, it was bliss! I cannot fault the massage at all! It was simply amazing and I have been contemplating on booking for another session as it was the best massage I had in this country. I was so relaxed! Please improve the facilities and I will gladly make this a regular massage hotspot!

I usually go to Nuad Thai in Northwood Hills but needed to be back home quickly today and this place is 5 minute from my house. The massage room is pretty basic with very thin walls. I could hear loud conversations throughout my massage. I was also surprised to see a bottle of Johnson’s baby oul and tiger balm on the table. There was also an off putting damp smell in the room which did not put me at ease. This all said, the Thai massage was excellent and relaxing. The massuse worked on my problem areas and I did come away feeling lighter and more relaxed. Just a shame about the facilities. I’m scoring 3 just because of the facilities but would go again for the brilliant massage.

Thank you for your feedback I will be looking into the points you raise. We have a choice of oils available, baby oil is used when customers have allergies to nut or seed based oils. If you get in touch would be happy to ensure you have a better experience on yuu next visit. Regards John

I go every week for 90 minutes with my masseuse Ben. She is great. The place is clean and calm and relaxing. An hour is £45 90mins is £60 and 2 hours is £80. I always leave a tip. I shall miss it when I leave. I feel much better for my regular sessions

Would have given 5 * however I don't expect a professional service to use Johnson Baby Oil. Apart from that, very good facilities, excellent therapist. A really delightful experience. Will go back.
