A stunning beach in an out of the way place. Parking may be an issue during the high season but it was very manageable in September.

This is a beautiful beach, and if you go early in the day, you're likely to have it all to yourself. Calm, clear waters, soft sand and rock-pools to explore at low tide make this beach a wonderful family destination. Perfect for kayaking or paddleboarding as the water is so calm.

We had a day trip to Wexford county and we stopped to the this beach. It’s a small beach but is quiet and you can get great shots. Few parking spaces. No toilets or shops over there or around.

We visit Fethard on Sea on a regular basis and we always to spend a couple of hours in this tranquil piece of Heaven. All year round is amazing.
But be warned, if you are going down along the beach, keep an eye on the tides and currents.
As you can be caught out fairly fast.

Baginbun Beach is a beautiful little beach and definitely worth a visit if you're around Fethard. It's small, but according to our landlady has swimming groups in the morning (we didn't see that, though).
We went in the evening and it's a beautiful spot then.

We arrived early one morning mid week,
There is parking for about 6 or 7 cars (with some cars parking on the road causing and obstruction).
A minute walk from the parking area to the beach, via a half steep hill (that we got a buggy down no problem), but there maybe an issue with persons of limited mobility.
The sand is great, not very rocky and smooth to walk on. Including the walk into the sea.
The tide was in when we were there, there was also a lot of children who were there leading to swim (water safety, from the council instructors).
We spent a great couple of hours there. It wasn’t great weather and as a result, it wasn’t too busy.
There are no local amenities for food/drink/bucket & spades etc....

Well worth visiting if you are near by....especially when the tide is not up. Views are lovely especially if you can around to view the cliffs from the other end. Its a shame that its own privately and not everyone can see such beautiful views.

This is a beautiful beach just south of Fethard just east of R734. Basically, where it ends you turn left and park at a small parking area above the beach. It is very pretty and pretty well removed from any crowds.

We are very paticular about beaches but this ticked all the boxes. horses on the hill, clean sand & water with no dogs. Free carpark. Public toilets, life jackets & a lifegard on duty. Beautiful shells. Quiet but sociable.

Only got here twice, spent a few hours with kids paddling and building sandcastles. Beach is clean & safe. Ample parking and porto loos on site.

Hi my husband and I are thinking of pitching a tent on baginbun beach, and sleep over for the night. Is this allowed,?

Hi Brenda and all wondering.
It is perfectly acceptable to camp at Baginbun (despite the signage to state otherwise). All the locals ask is that a 'Leave No Trace' attitude is adopted when using the bay.
