Went there yesterday and really enjoyed the visit. Spent most of the day there on the tour hosted by guide Bridín Nolan who was both knowledgeable and entertaining, followed by 'panning for gold' and archery. Well worth the visit.More

The whole family really enjoyed it including twins aged 3. Very accessible for all ages and really very informative. The guide Ben was excellent. He was educational but most of all very entertaining. Well done all, its a great way to learn about our heritage...More

Really enjoyed it. A great insight into life in ireland through the ages. Guided tours are included in price and seem very infornative. We just did our own thing for the most part and explored ourselves. Site is very well laid out, 16 different sections...More

Good value, interesting and well laid out. A great day enjoyed by all. Children loved the play area, archery and exploring all of the houses.

We did the guided tour just because one was about to start when we arrived and what a great decision! Definitely recommend taking the relaxed but hugely informative tour. Our guide Ben kept our band of teenagers fully engaged throughout and we all thoroughly enjoyed...More

It takes a couple of hours. It’s all outdoors apart from cafe and shop. It shows you how people lived in Ireland from the stone age to the Vikings. The tour guides are excellent.

I don't think so, I am not 100% positive but I think it is only service dogs that are allowed in. I have never seen a dog there.
