We found this lovely welcoming pub near the end of our holiday...and what a find! Martin behind the bar was really friendly and served excellent Guiness! We had three evening meals there, home cooked by the lovely Ann. Good, tasty home cooked meals were just what we needed after a days fishing. Ann cooked us a special fish meal as our farewell last supper ! Lovely! Food isn't served after 8 o'clock, so make sure you are there in time! From the outside it isn't obvious that they do food you need to go in.

During our cycling tour we came across this very nice pub in Ballyduff. Three of us ate very nice speciality toasts with chips and the other two a nice homemade vegetable soup. The place itself was very cosy. It's near the bridge over the Black Water river, so you can rent a canoe/kayak, peddle from Fermoy to Ballyduff and visit this pub afterwards :)
