This was a very informative and interesting tour into the design and making of crystal. The tour is very well conducted and guests are not only welcomed to but encouraged to take photos. The work is amazing and the workers are friendly and informative.

The tour was great as you see the people actually working in the factory completing various stages of the crystal products. It was interesting to learn about the history of Waterford crystal as well. There is a large gift shop, of course, as well as displays of some of the more famous pieces (trophies, memorials, etc.) that were created here.... More

The whole family enjoyed the factory. They take you through the steps, you get to see the glass being blown and also see some commissioned items going all over the world. We saw the Peoples Choice award while we were there. There are some items available that are under 30 and 50 euros. About 5 steps on this tour. The... More

Really neat tour here of Waterford Crystal. You really get to see what an art form this really is from the mounds to the engraving. Shop has some nice affordable deals and the cafe has fantastic desserts. I'm from Florida and I loved their key lime pie!

Well worth a visit, browse all the areas - it's not that big, and see the wide range of glistening crystal for sale. Some of it is cheaper than you would expect and make ideal keepsake gifts, other pieces are stunningly expensive and mesmerising in equal amounts! Crystal phone charger anybody?!!

The story is not what most of us think. Original placed closed for a long time and some Czech craftsmen started it back up fairly recently. Now owned by folks from Finland. The scissors company now owns Waterford Royal Dalton and other fine names. Good to know highest quality standards are retained. 8 years to become a master craftsman. Tour... More

We did the factory tour at Waterford Crystal on a recent visit to the city and both my mam and I loved it. Informative, interesting and really engaging as well. A must do when in Waterford.

We were so lucky to arrive just before the next tour commenced and were able to witness the jug making. This only happens twice a year. Our guide was very friendly and provided all the interesting supporting commentary and was up for questions too. A lady in a wheelchair in our group was well cared for. The best part is... More
