I went to Waterford Crystal a few days ago with my family and teenage daughter. My wife and I really enjoyed it. As did my daughter to our surprise (can't peel her off her phone usually!) It was interesting to see the craftsmen at work and understand how the process works. I would highly recommend it if you are in... More

I thoroughly enjoyed the factory tour. We were able to see master craftsmen at work on all stages of a project. The tour guide gave us ample time to walk around and take pictures at each station.

We loved this tour! It is extremely informative and you get to see hand on how the factory works on a day to day basis. The experts in each of the fields are at work 7 days a week and show you their masterpieces. The tour guides are extremely informative and pass around Crystal so that you can see the... More

This is a living factory with a tour taking you past live craftsman making the crystal pieces that are loved for their cuts made into crystal. You definitely understand the cost involved as you come to understand the hours involved in each item. Being able to touch and feel many things (but not all) on the tour make it stick... More

This was an interesting experience, but the guides were hard to understand, and could have been better organized. I think the main purpose was to try to get you to buy Waterford Crystal.

A trip to Waterford Crystal to tour the factory and see the artisans at work is worth it when in Ireland. No one would realize all the time and talent that goes into each gorgeous piece of crystal. From the design phase to the finished product, the crystal pieces are carefully created and inspected. In the showroom there are pieces... More

Had guided tour in a group on a coach trip. What a wonderful place! First of all the wonderful bear, then a guided tour of the factory where you could see all stages of glassmaking taking place. Our guide (sorry can't remember her name) was very informative and interesting to listen to. I wanted to buy everything in the shop... More

Visited as part of a tour group. Very interesting but you had to listen close to either hear or understand the guide. Watching the craftsmen at work was the highlight and I could have spent far more time there. The showroom was well done, very spacious with helpful staff. Well worth the stop if in the area. Toilets and cafe... More
