One trip here and tour of the factory and you will appreciate your cherished Waterford pieces even more! Tour was informative and the delicate handcrafting that goes into each piece was throughly explained as you literally walked through each of the steps of their handicraft. School age children will be intrigued as well as the adults. Tour ends in the... More

I would recommend this tour... The tour through the factory was amazing... The craftsmanship was spectacular .. You got to see it up close... The showroom was very sparkly! So many things to choose from! Cafe provided an array of delicious homemade delights including a fab selection of gluten free goodies.

We stopped in and were able to get on a tour within 30 minutes. We used this time to check out the large gift shop area. The gift shop area also has some cool crystal to look at that are not for sale. The tour was better then we thought! It is a very intimate tour. You get very close... More

A tour of Waterford Crystal provides an A-to-Z tutorial on the manufacture of fine crystalware. It’s very entertaining too; these people really know how to conduct a tour. I count this among the most interesting experiences of our vacation in Ireland. I was impressed with the custom crystalware on exhibit, especially the guitar and the gramophone. I still find it... The tour of the factory was outstanding, very informative and interesting. Unlike other tours where you only see a rendition of the factory, this tour takes you through the actual working factory and through the whole process. My 13 year old son was even fascinated. Highly recommend.

Probably not everyone will enjoy the tour, but I found it fascinating. I've always loved Waterford crystal. There's a showroom with many rare pieces, some are available for sale. The factory tour was very informative also.

Definitely a touristy thing to do, as they literally drop people off at the front door by the bus load. BUT, the history of Waterford Crystal is well preserved, and they have artisans on sight creating new pieces that are simply breathtaking. I've owned a few Waterford pieces for three decades and never knew that there should be a Waterford... More

Even if you've never heard of Waterford Crystal before, the tour would be worth taking. You get to see the craftsmen at work at all stages of the process, and the results are stunning. Make sure you stop by the tourist information center first to get a discount on your tickets too!
