I wouldn't make a detour to go to Waterford Crystal given that Waterford is not made in Ireland anymore and there are so many other places to go. But this was part of a tour we booked and I have to say it was very interesting. I actually bought Crystal at Blarney Woolen Mills because I found pieces better suiting... More

Waterford Crystal offers tours where you can see the crystal being made, which is very cool. The staff is very nice and friendly. They had some good deals on pieces, and a nice arrangement to pick out of the many different pieces.

The tour includes Waterford Crystal history and information, along with an actual demonstration from the moment a glass piece is created, all in an interesting, personal and intimate setting. Not knowing what to expect with the tour, we were impressed, to say the least. Once the tour has ended, the Waterford Crystal shop offers something for everything, a beautiful, spacious... More

Wonderfully detailed tour of Waterford Crystal Factory led by the inimitable Sean Maher, guide extraordinaire. Seeing first hand the artistry and craftsmanship put into each piece brings newfound appreciation for the process. Glass blowing, etching, marking, drawing, finishing and more, fully demonstrated and explained. Truly an experience not to missed when visiting Waterford!!!

This is a rather small, probably made for tourists, factory visit, which starts and ends in the world's largest (and therefore most impressive) Waterford crystal showroom. If you go on the tour, you get 10% off on purchases in the showroom. On the tour, you get to see workers blowing the crystal and, later, cutting it. The cutting is very... More
