We only walked 10 km from Durrow car park, through the tunnel and over the viaduct, but it was a splendid excursion. Watch out for fairy doors near the tunnel.

We went on the train with the family and our grandchildren loved the novelty of the trip and seeing the river and the fairy village along the way . Pity the garden’s at Mount Congreve were not open Well worth a visit . There were a diversity of people enjoying themselves from us on a train to walkers, cyclers , runners of all ages and sexes . Worth a visit !

Beautiful experience new to all this just bought a bike after 40 years had one in my youth. To add to the beautiful views everyone was so friendly, greeting people along the way. I’d like to send my sincere thanks to the young man who fixed my chain back on my bike and explained that I must be cycling when I change gears. No gears in my day, lovely chap with beautiful white teeth thank you. I will get good at this I now have the time after 40 years working and raising family. The greenways are just the best idea ever.

I finally got around to doing this route last Friday. I couldn't have picked a better day. I started in Dungarvan and headed east towards Waterford. The scenery is stunning. Toilet stop 10km in. Cycled over Killmacthomas viaduct and I stopped in the village for lunch. Continued on to Kilmeaden. Where the greenway goes through the old Waterford Suir Valley railway station. The station is beautifully preserved. There's a lovely coffee shop/restaurant there. Continued on to Waterford along by the Suir. Arrived in Waterford 46km completed and I turned around to make the trip back to Dungarvan. The only disappointment was the lack of a coffee & souvenir shop at the end of the route. I thoroughly enjoyed the day. It was great to see so many people making use of this Greenway. I would highly recommend.
