A lovely theatre. Good sight lines everywhere and reasonable facilities front of house. Great quality range of acts appearing here. I went to the Jazz festival offering which was Lianne Carroll. It was superb and the whole town not just the theatre was buzzing. The theatre however was a great spot for this concert and the atmosphere created was perfect.

We booked last minute and were very impressed with this small theatre. There's not a bad seat on the house, the staff are very friendly and the rates very reasonable.

This Theatre is just great, went to see the Conal Gallen, show while visiting Sligo with a group of friends from the UK, the theatre has a very good sound system so no problem hearing from any seat. Staff are very freiendly and accommodating.

A lovely little venue, a great view from every seat! Great acoustics and an intimate concert location. They have a bar and snacks available for purchase before and after each event.

Very interesting sculptures inspired by Yeats. Beautiful to look at as was the rest of the building. It's down by the river front rather than in the centre of town. Worth a visit, free entrance and the sculptor was there to explain the exhibition.

We went to the "I'm With Her" concert on May 4. I originally tried to buy the tickets online from home in the States but it wouldn't work because the postal codes are different and credit card wouldn't go through. I emailed Hawks Well and they called me within hours to help me purchase the tickets over the phone. Can't... More

We were staying in the area for the weekend and looking for something to do on the Friday night. They were performing a Somerset Maugham play, the Constant Wife, with local actors and we were able to get some seats in the front row at the last minute. For a provincial theatre the facilities are very good. Large bar (this... More
