Thanks for taking the time to visit The Model and for your feedback. We are primarily a centre for the arts led by contemporary visual art, and we also house a collection of national significance. We are currently installing a major exhibition of The Niland...More

I visited the Model Arts Centre to see the Yeats family portraits. Very few were on display and the contemporary art exhibition was an incomprehensible mess. The cafe's coffee was weak and the four euro sandwich I had was made on cheap white flabby supermarket...More

A very unexpected and quite lovely modern art museum! Was a bit disappointed with the current show, Yeats portraits, was expecting son Jack, but saw father, John...huge talent, but still prefer his son...an icon in ireland, but sadly unknown elsewhere!
