Matt Malloy just waltzed in and started playing! We also enjoyed that everyone in the pub would sing along to the songs. Declan has such a rich baritone voice! The beer is good too! This is a great pub, one of our favorites.

A place to live the truly genuine irish way of life! Familiar and amusing atmosphere, traditional irish music. Always crowded in a respectful environment! And of course, serves the indispensable Guiness stout!

Matt Molloys has an almost mythical status, but it is one of those places where you should believe the hype. The cosy and traditional front, the traditional musicians in an area to the back of it, then the music venue at the rear. A great...More

We went here on a Friday night for a few beers and some music. The place was really crowded and the middle bar was full of people too busy filming on their phones to actually enjoy themselves.

Great ambiance in this traditional pub. Music most nights, starting 9:30 - 10:00pm ish. Music is in the very back courtyard bar. Hard to find a place as it pack up quickly.

We called in for a few drinks and although no music was a lovely experience turf fire burning and many patrons enjoying the Guinness definitely a must if in Westport.

If you play trad then you're welcome to join in! Singers also welcome. Just ask one of the musicians if it's ok to play with them. Enjoy!

Not too sure dogs are permitted. The heated area is in the back but it's a music venue.
