Friend suggested meeting up for a chat - really surprised with the location, really convenient close to Crescent shopping centre just off the motorway. For a large bar thought it might be very impersonal but the bar staff were very friendly and good at what they should do. On looking around there was food being served so I had a look at Menu , lots of choice seemed to cater for all tastes. Will definitely be back again.

Good recommendation by our Airbnb host. Nice large dining and bar area. Seated on couch-like chairs with tables. Not too loud. Very rapid service. Wine glass priced reasonably. Lots of parking.

Had another good meal in Collins' Bar tonight. Working our way through the menu and no fault to date. Food is well presented and tasty. Serving staff very attentive and pleasant and not just because it was a bit quieter than other nights after the St. Patrick's weekend plus. Special mention for Joanna.

We popped into bar hoping to have a lite bite to eat, so as we walked in I asked the girl was it ok if I took a menu....that was about the only interaction we had we staff as we went to sit outside nobody bothered to follow us out to take our order, I would normally go in but seen as the place was quiet and plenty of staff on, it just seemed they didn't want our business...

Just had another great lunch. Fine portions top chief great service nice atmosphere. A side salad is provided to add to your carvery lunch. Price is fair well worth the visit. And they don't go cheap on the meat usually have roast lamb or roast beef.

I called in here last weekend and had the fillet steak and chips for 20 Euro's.
The steak was grizzly in texture with no flavour, portion of chips was measly and overall the quality of food here seems to dropped alot and overpriced for what your getting.

My family & I called to Collins Bar for lunch on Saturday last, Dec. 10th. The big rugby match started & the television was turned up to full volume. It was so loud, we could feel the vibration on the table! My sister-in -law asked a staff member to turn the tv down a little but this wasn't done. My family & I often stop here for lunch but we will never again eat in this place.

We ordered 3 fish and chips and a burger and chips. The fish and chips were €15 each. My son and I remarked immediately on arrival on how small the portions were. He is a 16 year old with a healthy appetite. The battered cod was only half the size of what i would expect in a pub resteraunt. The chips were thick cut home made, all 6 chips were tasty (yes i said 6 chips) but there were not enough. The food was served on a slate shingle, the fish resting on a pea puree. The burger looked very nice and my 2nd son enjoyed it but again the portion was too small.
Staff are very polite and professional. The meal was served quickly and I will say the food was nice but the focus in Collins' seems to be more on presentation rather than feeding their customers. I can say with certainty that this was the most money i have spent for so little food in a pub resteraunt.
I shall not return!
