We took the walking tour with Michael O'Donell from the Frank McCourt Museum, as the other one wasn't on in febuary (as - by the way - many things in Ireland). We loved every minute we spent in the museum and with Mike. Everyone involved was bending over backwards to please us and made sure we had a very special... More

Hats off to Noel Curtain, a most obliging guide and an excellent ambassador for the City of Limerick. With just four hours to spare at the end of a short independent tour of the south-east, we left our bags at the station and made a beeline for the Tourist Office in search of a walking tour. The helpful agent there... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour with Declan Hassett - we got his number from a very kind lady at King John's Castle. There were only 5 of us - some interested in Angela's Ashed and others interested in the history of the city, and Declan was able to combine all our interests to make for a very interesting tour.... you do not have too many thing to do in Limerick so can be a choice. There are not so many thing to see to be honest, but if you like book and movie, why not. To me does not worth 10 Euro Per person. P.s; at tourist center we are told it is free, I was thinking we are... More

I hadn't read Angela's Ashes until after we went on the tour. The tour was great and our guide was very knowledgeable. We got to see a lot of the city we wouldn't and learned even more. Highly recommend.

Noel, the curator of the tour is one of the most personable people you will ever meet. He knows the history of Limerick probably like no other. This is probably one of the best tours I've ever taken.

If you are a fan of Frank McCourt then it doesn't get any better. The tour guide is great and the tour is done in a personal manner. You relive the book live in front of you because you visit all the spots. You also get a little history of Limerick with it! Excellent tour!

What a great walking tour with Noel - a super friendly and very knowledgeable chap. This was really our introduction to Limerick as we only arrived twenty minutes before the tour began and we were treated to a few Limerick tidbits aside from the Frank McCourt facts. Great tour!

We loved the Angela's Ashes walking tour with Declan. This was a highlight of our trip. Yes, even compared to the Cliffs of Moher, Dingle, the Ring of Kerry, Blarney, Dublin, Guinness, Jameson, Waterford...I would say this tour ranked higher than most of the other adventures we had in Ireland. The streets of Limerick painted the struggles of Ireland in... More

Well, as someone who has never read the book or watched the film and never will, I must thank Noel for a great few hours entertainment. My wife is the Frank McCourt fan and Noels tour brought the book to life. It was great to meet Noel and listen to his stories. Well worth the money. My only problem is... More
