We live at the foots of the Ballyhouras, so we are up there loads. It is a fabulous, under utilised area. It is so quiet up there....until we arrive! Bring the bikes, picnics and definitely the maps which are available in Kilfinane..,there could be some...More

We did the 20K Ballyorgan loop. We saw rabbits, squirrels, buzzards and goats. Beautiful countryside not even the rain could dampen our enjoyment!

Nice walks, lovely scenery, water falls, established paths and all complimented with the practicality of a decent car park with simple facilities. You could spend an awful lot of time in this area and get nothing but satisfaction from doing so. A must do day.

Sorry for delay getting back to you. Any of the walks that I did were not suitable for buggys. There is a lovely walk in Croom. RIVERSIDE walk with cafe.
