Gorgeous arched bridge over the Shannon right by King John's Castle. It spans the full width of the river and will take you only 2 or 3 minutes to walk over for great views of the city and the Shannon. On the opposite side to the castle is the Treaty Stone, both are within a few metres of Thomond Bridge.

Beautiful bridge and it is possible to take a great photo of King John's Castle on the other side of it.

Walked halfway across the bridge and was amazed at the beautiful stone work. It is very close to King John's Castle and St Mary's Cathedral. Also a great spot for photos of King John's Castle and Shannon River.

This was most beautiful when the sun was going down. Take a nice walk along the bridge and take in King John's Castle and St. Mary's Cathedral.

Crosses the River Shannon, nice spot to get some great views of Kings Johns Castle, otherwise a pretty unspectacular bridge.

This bridge leads from the castle to the treaty stone. This bridge provides some nice views of the river. Worth a photo.
