The d.W.b is a fine, early 1900's styled victorian bar, adorned with an ornate mahogany bar & fitments. Beautiful advertising mirrors grace its walls, while an open turf fire provides a unique warmth & cosiness while you sink into its comfortable leather seating & private snugs. Here at The Dylan we aim to serve the highest quality potations from our discerning menus of draft beers, craft beers, wines & fine cocktails, but the real 'spirit' of the d.W.b is our ever expanding selection of the finest whisk(e)y's and superior gins the world has to offer. Our 'Spirit Library' currently consists of over 200 whisk(e)ys, and 30 gins, with both whisk(e)y and gin tasting trays available at the bar. If pure spirits aren't for you just yet, The Dylan also offers a specialised cocktail menu designed around our expansive spirit library and concocted by our very own cocktail maestro, Jim Rafferty, and includes everything from Gin Martinis to Whisky Sazerac's, with our Monkey Gland Cocktail being a house favourite.Once you've discovered your drink of choice why not experience it within the comfort of our Award Winning Snug (Best in Ireland 2011) at the front of the bar.B'th a newcomer or a regular always Taste, Feel & Experience 'The Spirit of The Dylan' The Dylan Whisky Bar (The d.W.b)

Having been to Dylan's a couple of times I thought I should review. The bar is what I'd consider cozy but well decorated with comfortable seats-be sure to plan on when to stop by as it is small and fills in quickly. The bartenders know their whisky and recommended some Irish Whisky I have not tried before. There is a... More

Two years ago my wife and I came to the Dylan, and it's at this whiskey bar where I discovered Green Spot; an excellent Irish Whiskey. One of the reasons we came back to Kilkenny this time was to once more, visit The Dylan. The bar is small, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in an... More

We were invited to a wedding BBQ being held in The Dylan. What a surprise. A really great bar, just what we were looking for. Warm and welcoming. We will come back.

Great pub with plenty of whisky choices! The bartender was friendly and welcoming and went well above and beyond for us. She gave some recommendations and then explained each that I got in depth. Overall a wonderful experience

The whiskey tastings are comprehensive and each dram comes with a description on the placement. However, the lady serving provided much more information and chatted generally about Irish Whiskey. She also put together a special tasting of the three new whiskies from Jameson and provided an explanation. Wonderful experience

Great music, lots of whiskeys. I managed to try a half a dozen that I had never tried before. The bartender did a great job of suggesting whiskeys for me to try. One of the best nights at the bar in a long time!
