We had Irish Whiskey Event during our one week wedding celebration in Ireland. Our guests came to the wedding from 9 countries. We tried to get our friends to enjoy everything Ireland has to offer and Irish Whiskey tasting with Heidi was one of the highlights of the week. To say that it was a success is an understatement. Heidi has a great sense of humor and she had an interesting way presenting material. It’s very friendly and those who did not drink really enjoyed listening to Heidi. I would strongly recommend adding truffles for your tasting – we got completely hooked on those wonderful chocolate with large grains of salt (who would have thought?) Many of us knew nothing about whiskey before this event and almost everybody started buying whiskey after our experience in Ireland. Prices for the tasting were very reasonable for the quality old whiskey we tried. Thank you, Heidi!

A few of us had a private tasting in Glenbeigh October, 2007. It was fantastic. I was a little worried because I had planned it as a surprise for the group, which included long-time whiskey-drinkers and those who only “try” it now and again. The presentation and sampling was perfect for those knowledgeable with whiskey, and those who are not. Heidi leads you through the production stages and all of the different variations which are made, tasting with each step. We had the tasting + chocolate, which really made the flavors of each come alive (think of it as like a wine and cheese tasting - the ladies loved it). It was also obvious that Heidi had worked at one of the major distillers in Ireland, and she shared many funny tidbits and opinions about the different types and brands we can find back here in the USA. It was a great experience, and even those who were not regular whiskey drinkers found it one of the highlights of the great 2-week trip. We even sampled an Irish Coffee recipe we’ll never forget. Highly recommended! Greg C. Reno, Nevada

While staying at a B&B in county Killarney we had a private masters irish whiskey tasting evening with Heidi Donelon. Heidi is an expert on the history and the different types of irish whiskey and how they are diffferent from scottish whiskey. She has a lovely personality and her passion for this subject made the evening come alive - even for a non-drinker such as myself. We also had the opportunity to taste some very rare irish whiskeys that are no longer produced or hard to find in ireland.

We had an evening Whiskey tasting with serious competition afterwards. Heidi told us a lot about whiskey but also about the habits and the drinks. She did a great job; a lot of fun and humor. The whiskeys tasted excellent, we did the course with the older whiskeys. We also did a competition which was fun although the differences aren't that easy to adress. It was a fantastic event, all 9 people were very enthousiastic; also the day after. Thank you Heidi!
