Did a 2 hour walking tour with John around Kilkenny city.Despite being a resident of this city I found John's tour to be enlightening and very informative and gave me a greater appreciation of the city.John has loads of anecdotes and titbits that make the tour interesting.John is totally customer-focused and his priority is that the visitor has an enjoyable experience in Kilkenny. I would highly recommend this tour.

It was a wonderful experience walking around Kilkenny with John as a guide. Kilkenny is really quiet right now so it is the ideal time to do a walking tour. It is also small and compact so it's possible to see almost the whole of Kilkenny in a couple of hours. John is intimately familiar with Kilkenny and its history and clearly enjoys sharing his knowledge.

Had such a ball on the tour, 2hrs was great and learnt so much. Got to go around and see so many sites- they have such beautiful n colourful buildings. John is very passionate about Kilkenny and you can tell he loves doing what he does which makes it really enjoyable. Would highly recommend 😊

Today's tour with John was excellent, informative and engaging. John provided a wealth of knowledge about the history and people of Kilkenny. He spoke clearly and was prepared to answer all our questions. We would highly recommend his tour.

Our guide, John Britton, was exceptionally knowledgeable and answered many impromptu questions about historical context. Beautiful natural scenery especially at River Nore. High Crosses and round tower at St. Canice. Beautiful stained-glass windows at the black abbey. Well thought out course looped back to beginning with sights all along the way. Must be seen in person to fully appreciate!

I found this tour to be extremely enjoyable, I got a real sense of the vibrant living history of kilkenny City from a tour guide that clearly has a love for his hometown and also its influence in the world now and throughout the centuries. While having a bit of Craic along the way.

We really enjoyed the informative walk around Kilkenny. There was enough historical information to satisfy my interest, while also enough fun facts and current information to satisfy my husband. There is a good bit of walking (about 4km) so be prepared for that. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

A group of us joined Johns historical walking tour of Kilkenny last Thursday 2nd June 22.

We had a wonderful time with John. He is knowledgeable, humorous and provides a great overview of the past and present of Kilkenny. I would highly recommend taking John’s tour on your very first day.
