The park is near the city center where we spent ALL day shopping and enjoying the sights. We went over to the park to use the public restrooms and entered the wrong building! Instead we found a beautiful display of wall art, artifacts, and an onstage production of Rapunzel!! Very popular place with the locals - all shows were sold... More

Missed the local Parkrun, but decided to take a long walk on a mild winters morning. Pleasant walk, plenty of couples and families doing the same. Paths were clean and tidy, most dogs were on leads, Odd one running about, but well controlled by their owners. Rose beds etc not in bloom, but some winter/spring shrubs etc would brighten the... When I first came to Tralee, I was delighted to have a park so close to me. It's really nice to take a walk around there. There's the garden of senses (which is quite interesting) and the rose of tralee boards. And of course, a lot of roses. It's definitely worth visiting if you're in the area.

It is nice to have this park, a bit of green area, in the middle of the town. There are some special flower and plant beds with descriptions just like in the botanic gardens. There are other nice areas to walk, and run, and sit and rest. There is also a playground for the little ones. You can also find... More

The park is in a lovely location but the best thing is the senior (5km) parkrun on a Saturday and the junior (2km) parkrun on a Sunday. Both events runs by two great teams. Whether you walk or run it's worth taking part to take in all the park.

We were dropped off right next to the park and you could smell the roses 🌹 so we went in to have a look. The place was beautiful the roses were out and the smell was amazing. We stayed here for quite a long time. Well worth the visit.

Very impresed with the large number of rose beds & the history of the annual Rose of Tralee festival. Each rose bed has one type of rose, the total number of rose bushes is in the thousands. Very well maintained. I'm sure this must be a lovely place to visit in the spring & the summer

The beautiful rose gardens might put you off bringing your children in with a football but you shouldn't let it. This beautiful park in the middle of bustling Tralee is just lovely. A small playground in the middle of it allows kids to explore but the vast open spaces are great for small bikes and rambles. Well worth an hour... More
