Tralee Town Park is the perfect place for stroll away from busy streets, and if the roses are in bloom, the park is a visual delight! The Park also has nice display and statue honoring the Rose of Tralee festival. Benches along the strolling paths make this a good picnic spot or just a pleasant sit.

Lovely park with a interesting statue and explanation about the Rose Of Tralee contest. The history/musical connection and names/ countries of the people involved. The beautiful rose gardens, with such a variety of roses( I didn't know there was a Hot Chocolate rose:)...and the wonderful scents.

We visited the Tralee Museum which was excellent. It had a makeshift lifesize old village and it was well worth a visit. We then took a walk through the Town Park and it was very, very pretty.

The Rose of Tralee is the story of William and Mary (not the royals) and their unrequited love. The park reflects that serene beauty.

The roses are out in mid-September, just beautiful. The park is large enough to find your own space. Lovely roses, about a million of them it seemed. The play ground was well used by the children. We walked around and returned at sunset til the moon rose! Just breathtaking and romantic!

We have visited Tralee many times. There are at least 4 good class hotels, with nice bars and restaurants. The cafes and shops are much the same as anywhere else. The pubs are quite dimly lit. I would get advice from where ever you are staying before going into any of them. There is a certain unsavoury element around the... More

A beautiful park. If you are not accustomed with the "Rose of Tralee" song you will learn something very moving about it.

We walked into the park to get from our guesthouse to the town. It was very well kept and the flowers were in full colour. Lots of roses which looked great.

Visited the park during the annual Rose Festival, it is beautifully kept and the addition of the Rose walk in latter years has made it a delightful splash of color in the center of the town. Safe for children to be allowed to run free and enjoy scrambling on logs and generally enjoying themselves. There is also a lovely bronze... More
