Having visited the Aqua Dome many times with my kids I chose a Monday night in October to escape the madness of the day. The newly refurbished relaxation suite with sauna's , steam room and plunge pool is a definite stress buster.

The boys, 9 & 12, spent hours in the pool. We had a pass because we stayed at the Rose hotel. They were wrinkled, smiling and hungry when they came out. I could relax with a hot chocolate and watch from the cafe. Definitely will...More

need recommendation for a village.. (16 Replies)
Can you recommend me a nice village in Tirol for a week stay which should be high (above 1000 meters) with nice view but very easy to get with car (not too steep, no sharp curves, road not too narrow, can drive easily while raining) ? I'm planning to be during summer for a week and visit Aqua Dome, Innsbruck, Fussen, Zukshpitza, some nature and nice villages. I would be happy for any help.

Thanks!! How is the drive to/from Lermoos/Ehrwald and to/from Seefeld in Tirol? Which one has a better road (not too narrow, not tto steep, dangerous curves etc) for driving, especially when it's raining (Although I'm going in Summer)..

Itinerary for 1 week spa/food/scenery holiday in Feburary? (0 Replies)
Hi, we are planning a last minute 7 day trip to the Salzburg/Tirol area leaving in a weeks time. We fly in and out of Munich and will be hiring a car there. We don't ski, but are interested in enjoying some winter scenery, spas and great local food (simple traditional food, not fancy restaurants). So far we are thinking of driving in a loop heading towards the Aqua Dome spa, then through Innsbruck to Salzburg and staying there for a few days and visiting a spa in Bad Gastein as a day trip,...More

We both are a fit couple and love to explore nature, scenic places, beautiful villages, snow, and hiking (only easy ones). We don't like musuems, library, exhibition and prefer to stay away from hustle...More

No need for hop on hop off bus inVienna. Much better to use the fast underground trains to get around. Salzburg likewise. Hop on hop off is useless as the old town centre is pedestrianised. Why go back to Sallzburg for a Sound of Music tour which will then bring you back to St Gilgen etc anyway. You are staying close by. Just take a drive to Mondseee only 20 mins away. Again, why are you changing accommodation to Gosausee. It isn’t close to Zell and yet you are making two day trips from...More
