Dingle Peninsula Hike - 8 Day Self-Guided Tour

There is so much to discover and conquer within ‘Dingle’ that it really has to be seen in all of its glory to be believed.  Because of its remote location – and lack of specialised agriculture – it is steeped in ancient Irish history and spectacularly shaped by the ravages of the Atlantic Ocean.  As you hike the Dingle Way (also known as the Kerry Camino) you will leave the county town of Tralee & follow to the southern shores to reach Dingle Bay, the magnificent Inch Beach and on to Dingle town.  Your return journey back to Tralee, takes you to the northern shores with the impressive Brandon range of mountains beckoning you as you discover more of the remarkable history that this land is so famous for.  We invite you to lose yourself in this magnificent landscape and make memories that will last a lifetime.

IWHB was great to work with on my walking tour (Kerry Camino/Dingle Way), from initial information and coordination, to day-to-day check-ins and weather updates. Morris provided a lively and informative intro the day before I set up, ensuring I was set up to enjoy the hiking. They are very well organized, friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. I don't hesitate to recommend using them for one of their tours, I was very happy, surprised really, with how much they had to offer and the way they went about it all.

This was a spectacular experience! From first contact with Dean to the support calls from Maurice during the trip, it was brilliantly orchestrated. There were a few minor glitches that were not a product of the tour company but it certainly made for more adventure. The accommdations, save for one, were excellent. The host/hostesses were amazing and transport services from site to site were well organized and the drivers were on time, friendly, incredibly informative. In my opinion, this is the only way to see Ireland. The trails were clearly marked, the scenery is breathtaking, the maps accurate and the whole trip was, well, spectacular. I would definitely recommend this trip and this company. Thank you Ireland walk, hike, hike for this amazing experience!

Just completed the Ring of Kerry Bike Tour. From the first booking correspondence through to completion of the ride it was a well communicated and organized tour. Accommodations were generally good to very good. Route selections was excellent in that a vast majority of the ride was on very lightly traveled roads and trails. That made it very much more enjoyable than riding in traffic. It did rain on 4 of the 7 days but it is Ireland!! Will return and would highly recommend.

We completed this tour Sep 8-14. Maurice checked in with us at the start to be sure all was well and we were set. IWBH has a dandy GPS that runs on your phone that made navigation a snap. They also provide paper turn by turn as backup. (I brought aux battery pack to supplement my phone battery so I could keep it on all day long.) The B&B hosts in Tralee, Cloghane and Inch Beach were wonderful. So friendly and caring. Their breakfast offerings were very tasty and perfect kick off to a day of biking. The daily routes were thoughtfully laid out. Beautiful country roads, light traffic and some amazing vistas. And some very ‘fun’ climbs!! Can’t say how delightful the whole experience was. We’re already talking about another visit. Definitely will be with IWHB!

Maurice and Fidelma worked with us to plan route that fit our timeline and distance parameters. We rented cycles. They provided handle bar bag, saddlebags, tool kit, maps and route details. All equipment was in great shape. Route was beautiful. Accommodations were terrific. Their response went way above and beyond when a case of food poisoning required a change of plans mid-way through trip. Can't imagine a better way to explore Ireland or a better company to have as your guide.
