Just south of the Killarney National Park, you can stop at the Moll's Gap viewpoint to get some nice views. It's worth stopping if you're driving along here anyway, but the views from the Ladies' View viewpoint just a little farther up (in the Killarney National Park) are much nicer.…

When in the kingdom you have to go up to Molls Gap on the way to Kenmare or Sneem. The views are beautiful and thankfully it was clear today.

Absolutely beautiful drive! Lots of places to stop your car, beaches to see, and historical sites. Highly recommend taking this route!

The weather in this part of Ireland is changeable and unpredictable. If you are lucky, the scenery is amazing. If the weather is bad, it may change in a matter of minutes. Moll's Gap is near the Gap of Dunloe, so you can easily combine the two in one trip. It does get busy in the sumer, so try and visit in spring/autumn/winter if you can. This is the kind of place that is best enjoyed when it is quiet.…
