Stayed here October 2014 with my wife and child. We stayed on a 3 DBB offer and found it to be worth every penny. The breakfast was very good and the evening menu changed every night. The hotel rangers had stuff organised for the younger ones to do. Its within an easy walk of Killarney and national park. Its a... More

We stayed in the castleross hotel and had a great time. The staff was lovely. The hotel is nice a clean. The food was great. Great value, beautiful course, well maintained, fantastic views, uncrowded and so so relaxed. Can't understand anyone that would pay 5 times the price to play at the golf club next door. Have been using that facility for over ten years and it's always consistant

Our group was pretty much beginners (can hit a ball but not with much consistency). We were residents so got very reasonable green fees 10 euro for 9 holes/ 15 for 18holes. The course was well maintained apart from some damage to the greens on the last few holes due to the deer but as we're not in any way... More

course would have been pretty good but we had the misfortune of dealing with the course manager/golf pro, he was english but he was so rude when we wanted a refund because most of the course had standing water on it and after the 3rd hole we decided not to play into the greens due to the ball plugging severly,... Enjoyed playing here Little cheaper and easier than some of the big name places but not bad if you are looking for a quick 9

We stayed at the Castlerosse for a family weekend for my parents anniversary at the start of October, they are regulars and go twice a year every year for the Golden Years program so we decided to make it a family trip this time. Had an absolutely fabulous time, staff didn’t mind us joining in on the Golden Years quiz... More
