I ended up playing a round of golf while on vacation in Ireland, and it was this course. I rented clubs,a cart, balls and tees. I was a bit disappointed in the condition of the course. Fairways were so so, and the greens in rough shape....More

A group of us played Mahoney point course and to be honest it wasn’t great the greens are clearly diseased and don’t run true the fairways were short of grass often playing off mud. Nice views and well organised at the clubhouse end but course...More

Played the Killeen course and felt the fairways were a bit neglected for a championship course. Greens were in good shape and the views of the lakes were stunning. The pace of play was very slow especially those in buggies and it needed a marshal...More

We travelled to Ireland for 5 days of golf and this was the worst course. Extremely dry, greens not in very good condition and the holes are very similar one to another. Cannot say I will remember it in few weeks.

Conditions of course poor, clothing in pro shop over priced. The course was over crowded. The restaurant at the golf club was worth the trip. The staff at the golf restaurant was friendly and the food good

Staff was very friendly. Course was not in the quality of condition that you should expect for a course with such a high reputation.

Very wet but great course design. Played with a caddy, Stephen, who not only very helpful with me but the other couple I played with. He helped them with every shot, read their putts, etc., and they didn't tip him a dime.

After a gap of a few years I played Killeen recently. Weather was fantastic (a tee shirt in October) and course was in great condition. Setting overlooking the lake is stunning, sometimes hard to focus on the golf. Great pro-shop with very friendly staff. Heaven.

Spectacular views of Ireland. A sightseeing joy. Well groomed and maintained. A must for those who are playing multiple courses in the Killarney area. A welcome change to the windy Links courses.

Yes you can, I was there a couple of days ago with a visitor from the US for coffee and snacks.
