My tour group and I took a jaunting car ride (horse and carriage ride) through the Killarney National Park and the views were incredible. Some scenes are unreal. There were several photos I took that looked like they were a scene from "Pride and Prejudice"...More

The one hour jaunting trip(horse drawn cart) through the national park was amazing. It is so beautiful! Our driver Mark and horse Blackie were excellent. Mark was both witty and informative. There have been wonderful moments on this trip, but this tops it. Cyndi Toronto,...More

I would describe this as a horse-drawn carriage ride with a very courteous, engaging driver thru a beautiful natural setting. Beautiful lilies in bloom, many birds and a few deer. Very worthwhile!

Beautiful gardens, the scenery was fantastic. We really enjoyed our jaunting car ride through the park and even managed to see a deer.

Killarney National Park is gorgeous and full of activities. In addition to just enjoying the scenery, there are Muckross House, Gardens, Abbey, and Traditional Farms. Also, Ross Castle, Torc Waterfall, and a variety of other things to see. Definitely worth spending some time here.

Beautiful! If nothing else, take the time to get out of the car and do a short hike. There are many well-marked trails throughout the park with maps etc. available at the visitor centre at Muckross House.

Spectacular views abound in this beautiful National Park. We took a tour by cart ( trap pony) through the Gap of Dunloe and then a "long" boat ride through the upper, middle and lower lakes to Ross Castle - what a thrill. We drove through...More

A beautiful park. Ross Castle and Muckross House and the Dunloe Gas are among the many attractions. Take a horse drawn buggy ridge while in the park. Very relaxing and the driver was very informative. Had a great time at the park.

The roads appear to be old paths converted to roads but they are drivable. Drive with caution.
Evening, How long would you say it took you to walk to Tor falls and back, visiting in June, putting together itinery. cheers

Hi, I'd say an hour each way easily to the lower falls. There is another smaller falls above the main falls but these involve a fairly steep climb. The gardens were really worth the visit. There's another circular walk... More

Is there a walking path that hits all of the main sights? From maps it looks like you might have to drive from one area to another. Also, how long should we allocate for time touring the park and enjoying the general area (not including the Ring)?
