We took our 1-r old in her stroller right up to the waterfall. Nice walk, but the waterfall itself is very uninspiring & unimpressive. However, if you climb up some of the steps by Torc, you can get a great pic looking back on the...More

Just a five minute walk from the road is the very pretty Torc Waterfall. Perhaps not tall by some standards, it has a lovely forest setting and is ripe for photo taking.

As part of a jaunting cart ride around Muckross House grounds we visited the Abbey and Torc Waterfalls. Especially enjoyed the walk up to the falls through a moss covered magical woods with the brook running alongside the trail. Lots of people visiting the falls...More

We went on a walk up to the waterfall which was only a few minutes walk away from the car park. When we got there a large group of Spanish students rushed up screaming and were running all over the rock that made the scenery...More

Great visit with minimal walking and not overly crowded. Highly recommend. Went with my mother and father in their mid 70's and they had no trouble making it to the falls.

I was expecting a great waterfall, but was disappointed. It is quite tall and beautiful, but didn't give me a 'WOW' feeling.

This was my favourite place in Killarney as I am a bit of a waterfall fanatic. My wife and I got off the Killarney Shuttle Bus here and spent some time just absorbing this wonderful waterfall in natural surroundings. There is a short walk from...More

If you want to get a good photograph at this waterfall, I would suggest you get there early. We walked from Muckross House & Gardens which was a nice 20 minute walk.

We really enjoyed visiting this location after visiting the Muckross House. There is no time limit here - well maybe dark, and it is free to visit. Great picture opportunities with all the ferns and moss plus the waterfall itself. About a 10 min walk...More

We walked up from Muckross house which is a nice 20min stroll away, past the lake. Nice scenic falls, just didn't hang around too long as there were small bugs swarming around everywhere!

It's kinda on the other side of Killarney. Like the cathedral is in town and then Torc Waterfall is out past Muckross House in the park. Not terribly far though.
