If you haven't seen a waterfall then this is worth a look. Otherwise, it is much the same as any other!

Nature at it's finest. A short ride from Muckross, it's a popular attraction, there is a short hike on a nature trail to get up to the falls, but well worth it. Wear casual clothes for hiking in the woods. The falls are quite high...More

Loved the opportunity to see Torc waterfall. Make sure to wear runners or flat shoes in order to make your way up and down safely as the pathway up is very uneven. Lots of different trails to suit every fitness level!

Located just down the road from Muckross. There is a tiny parking lot. It is a short walk, 5-10 minutes, via the trail. Views of purple rhododendrons across the stream. The falls are pretty. Quite a few people frequent this destination. We didn’t stay long,...More

I wasn't sure I was going to visit here but I'm glad I did. It was a bit muggy and warm, and began to rain as we arrived, but we braved through the rain to capture lots of great photos of this magically beautiful place....More

This was packed with visitors however you could still sense the calm and beauty in the dark and cool woods. It's a serene spot that I'd love to visit again.

A lot of beautiful places in Ireland and this is definitely one of them. Of course waterfalls are always beautiful but take into account the complete setting and this is absolutely amazing. Hike up slowly so you can take everything in as there is so...More

Currently the area is in a drought but the falls are a must see when in Killarney. Take the time and walk to the top.

There is a car park down the bottom of the waterfall but a steep slope up to see the waterfall... you probably could push a buggy but may find it a bit difficult. I would carry your baby if I am honest.

THe walk from the parking lot closest to the falls is only a 5 minute walk. If you decide to go up the steps after viewing the falls takes another 5 mins to the first level. You can't see the waterfall from there. But... More
