Definitely worth the short visit. It's only a two kilometer walk from Muckross House and Gardens and can also be accessed by car or jaunting car.

After doing about 3/4 of a loop around Muckross Lake my husband & I followed the signs up to Torc waterfall & it became clear that this short trail to the waterfall was much more popular than the 4 mile trek we'd just done around the lake. The waterfall was nice was I preferred the seclusion of the trail along... More

This is a very pretty, short walk from the road. It isn't a huge waterfall, but still worth the short walk to view it.

Nice short walk up to the waterfall which was quite nice in a lovely forest. Nothing spectacular, very dangerous trying to get out after parking (if you can get a park in the summer..!)

It was a raining, but after waking up the path, with the roar of the river, we could assume there was going to be something worth the effort. And disappointed, we were not. With all the rain we had, the fall was in its full glory. Excellent place to come, just of the main road. If your on the ring... More

Told waterfall is a nice little waterfall to visit when passing through. Again, I wouldn't warrant it a day trip out as a main destination, but it's well worth to stop by when in the area. Only a short walk from the car park, but can be extremely busy, especially in the summer months. If you make the effort and... More
