stayed in Killarney for a couple of nights after Christmas and went for a walk in Muckross House grounds on one of the mornings. It was a lovely day and we walked for a long time through the woods and by the lake. Beautiful scenery.More

Our tour braved the wind and rain to see this beautiful house. The owners of the house undertook extensive renovations to prepare for Queen Victoria's visit. You can walk in the rooms where the Queen walked!

Very interesting tour, and well informed guide. Worth the price and the walk. Beautiful grounds and very friendly coach drivers on the property. Highly recommend visiting and having a look around.

You will need to provide more information. What hotel are you staying at? Most hotels will arrange horse riding for a small fee. I am unsure about clay pigeon shooting.

They weren't blooming in mid-May (but the rhododendrons were fantastic!) so I would say they are about due now...in the US they are blooming now and Ireland is slightly ahead for the blooming season because of the additional... More
