Wish I could remember her name. She was a short haired red head from a town 30 or 40 minutes north of Killarney. She had a great sense of humor, was an avowed environmentalist which I told her not to apologize for. The house is...More
We toured the Traditional Farm. It is well laid out and has beautiful views all around. The grounds of the Muckross House are stunning. We did not get to do the tour of the inside due to lack of time and the rare heat wave.

Very enjoyable tour of a beautiful house full of original features. Sean was our tour guide, he is extremely knowledgeable on the house and its history. Also a very engaging, entertaining tour guide. Highly recommend

Hi Joan, Muckross House, Gardens and Traditional Farms are worth visiting all year round. However, it is particularly beautiful in Spring/Summer when the Cherry Blossoms bloom, and there is a frothy pink and white display around the park. Hope to see you soon!
