Everyone want to play the Old Course at Ballybunion. It is a great course, but it feels like it has become a golf "factory". Not as much charm, this has become too commercialized, with a feeling of being rushed in and out.

I had already rated Tralee a 5 star course but I think Ballybunion has the edge on it. The course is fabulous, our caddies were great young men and the clubhouse is top notch. But what really made it stand out for us was the...More

12 of us recently played Ballybunion Old Course. It's a classic Irish course on the ocean with tons of history. The service was very good, the course was in good shape and I'd love to play it again tomorrow! It's a little more of a...More

Played here in 2003 and again in 2015. Forgot how great this golf course is. Outstanding weather in early September. Course in excellent shape. One of the worlds best.

I enjoyed Ballybunion and Waterville the most of the six courses we played. It's an interesting layout in that you tee off over the green you just played a couple of times. You can see most of the trouble from the tee box. Good scenery...More

We played in a torrential down pour. The wind was almost gale force. Our caddie was most helpful but these were horrendous conditions. I only wish I had another day to play this beautiful course.
