After reading all the fantastic reviews I was really looking forward to the Ring of Kerry . Unfortunately it was a rainy day, and the views were not that good. It's also a LONG drive, and stressful if your not used to the narrow roads...More

Be prepared for a long drive! This took an entire day, with various stops throughout to enjoy the views. Which were stunning! Every time you turned a corner you encountered a new view that was better than the one before. We passed plenty of touring...More

The Ring of Kerry is a popular day trip. It is a 179 kilometer long circular tourist route in County Derry in southwest Ireland. Drivers are rewarded with a multitude of scenic views. It is important to know that several of the roads are very...More

We did the whole ring and it was nice drive and we saw some nice places and views but it was nothing spectacular. The highlight for me was what is known as the 'Ladies View' which was truly beautiful. A great tip our Irish relatives...More

We started the Ring of Kerry in Kenmare and ended up in Dingle Bay. It was amazing to watch the beautful landscape including fuchsia shrubs, This was really wild wild west. Next time we try to hike over the hills.

Beautiful drive along the coast of Ireland. The only downside to visitors is that the drive time is a bit longer that we were lead to believe.

This is one of those things you are told you have to do and unfortunately, we only got to do part but what we saw, we really liked. Great views of water, mountains, forests and cliffs and some neat little towns throughout. It is definitely...More

This was the last part of Ireland we had not toured and we had certainly saved some of the very best scenery until last. Took most of the day doing the ROK stopping off at several spots for walks/refreshments and just admiring the views. Some...More

There were 4 of us (2 couples) and we had a rental car (Audi A6) which was great around the twist and turns of the Ring of Kerry. We drove counter-clockwise, which was fine with us and we had no problems at all. The 3...More

We took a bus tour from Killarney and it was the best €20 spent! Our driver Tim was hilarious and shared lots of very interesting information along the way. They were many stops to stretch our legs and get photos. We had lunch at a...More

Hi, which is the best and dependable tour operator for Ring of Kerry. We are on a budget and don't have a car. Thanks

I'm so sorry I can't help you as we had a hire-car. Good luck.
Two of us. Willing to partner with other couple. One day to drive whole length. Need to know must see places. Cost of a driver. Where do we get one?

No I don't really think you could do both in one day. Just concentrate on one. The road is quite narrow and at some times of the year it could be quite busy and slow with cars and coaches.
