We drove the entire Ring of Kerry (counterclockwise) and it took us most of the day! It was fantastic with a lot of stops along the way. It really showed a great deal of Ireland landscape with beaches, forests, and quaint little villages.

I studied the comments on how to drive the Ring of Kerry - clockwise or anti-clockwise. We decided to do it clockwise as to have the sea on our left and not being stuck behind a bus. It was the right choice. We set our...More

Well, what a beautiful drive... We had five in a van and enjoyed the various scenes. It was suggested to go clock wise opposite of the buses and charters. We did and enjoyed not having to hurry up along with waiting for them as well....More

The Ring of Kerry was a very nice surprise and I am so glad we made the trek. After four days of being in the car, I think we were all ready to forego Noter journey. Instead, we headed out around 11 am from Muckross...More

We spent 7 hours on the drive, stopping at one historical site and many view points. Skellig Michael was closed when we were there,so we didn't get to do that. The Skellig Experience center was a bust. Not worth it. The road was nowhere near...More

No I don't really think you could do both in one day. Just concentrate on one. The road is quite narrow and at some times of the year it could be quite busy and slow with cars and coaches.
