The landscape is scenic, even if the sheep farm wasn't there. Add the entertainment of the dogs herding the sheep makes it an amazing experience. Also saw the worker sheer a sheep and learned why the sheep have colors on their backs. Good little stop and learned a little about one of Ireland's large industries.

We visited The sheep farm with a touring Company group of 46. This attraction is great for small children and adults alike. We saw border collies herding sheep and afterwords saw a sheep sheering demonstration both of which were fascinating. Price of admission for adults was seven euros and four children five euros. Cost is very reasonable and the demonstration... More

Seeing the herding and shearing of sheep brought back wonderful childhood memories. The staff was friendly and welcoming! How many places can you go and adopt a sheep? What a great way of keeping people engaged in the farm!

Had a great time watching the border collies round up the sheep. We then had and razor shearing of a sheep. Learned lots about life as a sheep farmer. The hosts Noel, John and Jonathan were all great.

This is a great way to spend a little over one hour. You can see a working sheep farm and watch a great demonstration of the dogs that keep the sheep in line After that they will grab a big woolly sheep and shear the wool off into one big blanket They will explain a little about all those sheep... This was super fun, very smooth. We were not there for long but owner did a great job really bringing you into the world of sheep with both history and current events. The dogs were soo good and looked so happy!

The Sheep Farm show was interesting. The sheep can hear commands from the handler up to a mile away. The sheep shearing was also interesting

On a spur of the moment we decided to add this stop on our trip. Glad we did. We were able to pet some of the sheep, the baby ones were especially cute. We also watched a sheep herding demonstration. The hillside and surrounding area is absolutely beautiful, and we learned lots about sheep. While we were in the bleachers... More

My husband and I just returned from Ireland on a Rick Steves tour and this was one of our stops. It was so enjoyable, beautiful and entertaining. In addition to the magnificent sheepherding dogs we also say a sheep shearing demonstration. This is a family run operation - please put this on your itinerary while you are in Ireland -... More

Stoped in here on the way to kenmare as my girlfiend who is a massive sheep lover saw a sign for it. We arrived just in time for the sheep dog show which was great and very educational. Watched the sheep shearing then and spent some money in the shop. Its 7 euro each and was well worth it
