On a cold January day, this was the perfect spot for a couple of drinks by the fire. The staff were nice and the drinks were cheap and we were so cosy that we didn't want to leave.

For many years I have enjoyed this bar, a favorite for locals and tourists. It is old world yet exceptionally warm and friendly. An ideal place to have a drink either before or after a meal on Quay street.

Just popped in for a drink because this was the only place that we could find a vacant outside table. When I went in for a drink I felt entirely out of place cause there wasn't a female in the place. It was quite small...More

Quite a small pub, but with a great atmosphere. Good range of beer and spirits, mostly Irish but also some of the trendy beers for those with more cosmopolitan tastes. Takes cards for the short of cash.

Overwhelmed by the drunks dancing to the buskers, and needing a sit down, we went into the darkest auld mans pub on the Main Street. Service great. Gin served in a big bowl with lots of ice. Didn't try any food.

Often visit this lovely pub in Quay Street to meet friends before going for dinner in local area and post dinner drink. Caroline is so friendly and chatty. Such an asset to this venue. Hope she's appreciated!

The bartenders were really helpful. The price of the pint was a little less than the average. The interior was cozy and comfortable. It looked like it was from a different time. We loved it.
