Have been there lots of times again in the last few weeks. Still the most friendly pub in Galway. The bar men are great. Sat outside yesterday with children for an Irish coffee and the bar men could not be more helpful, asking us if we are ok and tending us outside at the table. Its like a friendly local... More

Called in with friends last weekend when in galway city. Friendly staff and a great pint blended with some of the best trad music I've ever heard. Overall wonderful experience and very enjoyable. Will be back for sure.

We stopped into the pub one night for some traditional music. Loved the atmosphere and the bartenders so much we came back the next day. We drank, had long chats with several 'famous' locals and Kevin the bartender taught me some Irish. If I go back to Galway I will be heading straight to Tig Coili.

We popped in for a drink after dinner and left when they closed... Great drinks selection, good music and just a friendly fun place to spend an evening chatting with the locals... Highly recommended!

Went to Tig Coili's in Galway hoping for a bit of Irish music and a pint and found a pub packed with friendly locals, tourists & staff. Gotta love the namesake the picture of the namesake! She would be proud, I suspect to host such a traditional Irish experience. Topped off the evening with the perfect Irish Coffee. A great... More

Just returned home from a weekend in Galway and thought I'd write a review on this pub. My partner and I popped into Tig Coili the other day to take shelter from the rain and have a drink. We were impressed by the inside immediately. It's small but perfectly formed, with a small area to the left as you walk... More

A mix of tourists and locals makes for a more genuine Irish pub experience, great atmosphere, music and service. A must for visitors and locals alike

We were walking past and there were 4 guys out front playing and singing and the crowd was singing along. Everyone was having a pint and enjoying a beautiful evening. We stood for quite awhile and listened. Well worth the time.

Brilliant pub. Great traditional music. The musicians were great and their number kept growing through the evening. Loved every noisy, cramped second of it. Would return in a blink.
