Went on a Monday morning session. Hadn't been there for a few years, but the pirate ship is gone now. Cost was a bit high & the steam room wasn't working properly, staff gave me the impression this was normal. Other than that it was nice, pool deck cleaned, staff friendly & plenty of parking. Worth a visit on a... More

Leisureland Salthill is a large facility facing the promenade at Salthill park with free parking to the rear and level access entry. Out front, up steps and through a large glass door the main entry hall leads to a cafeteria and public swimming pool. There are large clean bathrooms and for the performance a bar was open. To one side... More

The facility was great fun for my family but they had no towels available to use (but you could buy one for €10). Swim caps were required (new to me, so another €6 for my family) and they charged for the usage of hairdryers. It was a bit difficult to swim this place on holiday (who packs a towel on... More

I tend to visit leisure land during the summer with the kids and I find it's always cold. The baby pool in particular is freezing and u have to stand around watching them for so long that ud be blue. The kids love the inflatable obstacle course and the bug slide, the pools are great as even when it's busy... More

The changing rooms are tiny, very awkward if you're with young children. The toilets are filthy. The pools themselves are fine with a nice paddling pool for small children but it's freezing!! Definitely needs a major re-vamp!

Great value, no limit to the amount of time allowed in the pool area. Kids loved it, from the slide to the obstacle course bouncy castle and the water fountains. Changing rooms were clean as were the showers and of course the pools. Plenty of lockers too. Definitely recommend this if you are looking for something to do with kids... More

Super facilities. Clean family changing rooms and pool. Fun children's pool with a kid friendly bubble pool and fountains. A large slide and bouncy obstacle course on the water for the older kids. The floor in the large pool ranges from 1metre depth to almost 2 metres so it suits all ages and abilities. My 5 year old felt really... More

Great value and great facilities. If you have a few hours to spare in Galway and are at a loose end then Leisureland offers a great option. €10 for a walk in use of the gym and pool is excellent value. Used the gym on a Sat morning and the facilities and changing rooms were excellent and at €10 I... More
