Fiona was one of the best guides we have had on any tour we have ever been on. You can tell she loves her job and is very proud of Galway where she lives and points out all the interesting facts and little stories that you would only see or hear with a brilliant guide. Love Galway and love Fiona.... More

We passed several groups of walking tours as we headed to the TI on Forster St. and I felt fortunate indeed to meet Liam for the 11:30 tour departing from the TI. Liam was so knowledgeable and engaging as he shared his passion for his native city. We truly got a sense of Galway through the ages as Liam revealed... More

Went out with Brian today for about a 45 minute tour of downtown and the river walk toward the Spanish Arch. Galway is a beautiful town and it would be easy to just walk around and enjoy it. Brian brought a much deeper dimension explaining the history of buildings and the city itself. Even recommend a great pub for lunch!

The tour thru Galway was entertaining and worth the time. Our guide was nice and very well informed. Walked thru the entire town almost backwards, he was that good. Told good jokes and had some awesome sarcasm (highly funny!). At the church he even went into free masons, conspiracy theories and the da Vinchi Code. My only comment would be... More

I was lucky to get a personal tour of Galway with Fiona. We hit most of the historic sites around the village. Fiona also pointed out restaurants, pubs, and the best stores for jewelry and wool. She has a terrific grasp of history. My only regret was doing the tour on my last day instead of my first.

We met at the Harbour Hotel at the appointed time, but it was not Fiona it was someone standing in for her. He was definitely an experienced tour guide, from the sound of what he told us. He said he had never done the tour from this starting point and appeared very thrown off by it. We did not see... More

Fiona was a wonderful guide- very knowledgable and articulate. She shared with us many fascinating stories and tidbits we would have never even thought to look for! Well worth the price. Highly recommend.

Neal was the most gracious knowledgable guide... Highly recommended it as soon as you get into town! It permitted us to plan the remainder of our trip.
