Michael Faherty is a great Irish man who delights in showing off his beautiful part of Ireland. It was a totally gorgeous trip with post card sunshine and nature at its best. What a great trip.

The tour of the Aran island was the highlight of our month long trip to Ireland. The tour was handled professionally and was a delightful day with no hassles. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Well worth the money.

We are a canadian couple. And we took this tour on May 27 2017. It was a great tour. The agenda was respected and Mr Faherty gave us good information which helped make this tour enjoyable. It included everything: geology, history, and a good idea...More

We lucked out on this tour from Galway to the Aran Islands - the weather when we arrived was perfect! A bit rainy leaving Galway (and the ferry ride over was pretty rough!). But the tour on the Island itself was fabulous! Michael was so...More

Michael Faherty runs a top notch tour company! The customer service was excellent from their assistance in signing up for the Aran Island tour (the website was down for maintenance) to Michael picking us up at our B&B. I liked that the Faherty tour gave...More

The ring fort Dun Aonghasa is a must see. The cliffs there are truly remarkable. Had my 21 year old son and a friend. They loved it. Very dramatic. Harbour seals at the end were nice as was an opportunity to get into Atlantic ocean...More

Michael Faherty to me is the last word in Aran Island tours. He is actually from there and conducts the tour himself. You are given an option to bike, walk, take a horse and cart or take a smaller bus ride. I was advised to...More

We would travel to Inis Mor more often (and perhaps stay there) if it weren't for the unpredictable weather in March, but this year in early April we were surprised by an absolutely gorgeous summer-like day...so based on the weather forecast, we called Faherty's a...More

It's great that the guide is a local! And you don't spend much time in the bus! They discourage people to take the biking and walking options because they are not guided. But most interesting attractions (fort, churches, ...) accessible by bike!

I am trying to book the Aran Islands tour online but can't get to the payment screen. I keep getting an error message. What are my other options for booking ahead?

Hi, I would like to take this tour around mid October 2017. I can get some bad motion sickness if the sea is very rough. What is the weather like around that time of the year. Can you give me some idea. There would be 2 of us. We will be staying in Salthill. Do you pick up from accommodation or do we have to come into Galway city to a particular location. Also what time does the tour start and what time does it get back to Galway. Thank you.

Hi, I'm traveling as a group of six. We are staying in Galway City - do you know of any Ring of Kerry Tours that depart from Galway City. Or any day trips to Killarney. Thank you
