Went to Trad on the Prom last night in the Galway Bay Hotel. I was blown away by the talent on display , the musicians , dancers and singers were just out of this world. I felt so proud to be Irish! It was a really wonderful show and I will recommend to my friends to go.

The program was very entertaining. I loved the music, dancing, and singing. The entertainers were warm and friendly and welcomed pictures and questions/comments during intermission and following the performance. This is a family-friendly performance.

The musicians and dancers in this show are world class performers. I have been to Riverdance and this show although smaller is more of the Ireland I want to see. You are not going to see this talent in a bar by chance or busking out in an alley like some have implied. Best money I spent in 2 weeks... More

I humored my wife and agreed to go to the Trad on the Prom and I can say it turned out to be one of the most entertaining nights in Ireland. The music was great and the dancing better. They pack people in but they really keep the show moving and it is over before you know. We would definitely... More

We saw this performance in a hotel conference room in Galway, Ireland. The room was grossly overfilled for the safety of all, uncomfortably warm, but our biggest problem was viewing the show. Without tiered auditorium seating we were only able to see the performers from the shoulders up. Easy solution would have been to have cameras on the dancers and... More

loved this unexpected gem. amazing talented musicians, singers & dancers. Would recommend this to anyone. Only thing that was missing was the harp ... it's the national symbol of Ireland so you'd think someone would play it ...

Trad on the Prom was an excellent production of Irish instrumental music, dance, and singing. It's a perfect way to spend an evening in Galway and is easy to get to using the bus system. Be sure to book tickets ahead.

Our CIE tour group stayed at the Galway Bay hotel. This show was not included as part of the tour, but our guide gave it strong recommendations. He arranged for the group to get reservations, cost was 30 Euro per person. It was well worth it. The show lasted two hours, with one short intermission. There were a variety of... More
