Thin Lizzy was always a favorite rock group of mine. The statue of Phil Lynott is very moving tribute.

Lovely large statue, easy to find in the town centre. Good photo opportunity. I think early in the morning would be the best time to see this people free.

I remember going to see Thin Lizzy all those year ago and this is a great memorial to a great musician. I always thought that he was taller!

Lovely to see this great image of a brilliant singer/bassist. Imposing stance of an imposing presence. Sadly missed.

This statue is a tribute to the Thin Lizzy front-man and bassist Phil Lynott. The statue features Lynott standing, right hand on his guitar which is resting on the ground, with his left hand in his pocket. The statue faithfully shows his funky afro hair-do....More

In Dublin an incredibly short time, and was so happy that I was able to find the statue on a side street off Grafton.

Unfortunately Phil's grave and his statue cannot be farther away from each other. The statue is downtown while his grave is on the other side of Dublin on the far eastern edge. It would be best to stay closer to downtown... More
